Waiting for someone to come home?! Here's a VERY hard to find VINTAGE T-Shirt (probably early 1990's or before) that is a size LARGE that is in worn once condition with no scaring of the graphics, no stains or holes. The puffy YELLOW graphic of a ribbon and letters that read:
COME HOME SOON!
Making this a vintage T-Shirt is the neck tag—Sceen Stars Best 50% cotton and 50% polyester. This VERY lightly pre-worn black T-Shirt, size Large or XL (read measurements below) has a puffy (textured silk-screened) very bright yellow graphic on the front of a huge ribbon with the words COME HOME SOON! Nothing on the back of the shirt. The T-Shirt measures 23 inches across the chest measured under the arms and from the back of the neck line to the bottom hem is 29 inches making it a comfortable size LARGE or tight size XL so please know your size! The old school neck tag says it is a size XL--in today's world it is a size LARGE.
And in case you've forgotten the words...
I'm comin' home, I've done my time
Now I've got to know what is and isn't mine
If you received my letter telling you I'd soon be free
Then you'll know just what to do
If you still want me
If you still want me
Whoa, tie a yellow ribbon 'round the old oak tree
It's been three long years
Do ya still want me?
If I don't see a ribbon round the old oak tree
I'll stay on the bus
Forget about us
Put the blame on me
If I don't see a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree
Bus driver, please look for me
'cause I couldn't bear to see what I might see
I'm really still in prison
And my love, she holds the key
A simple yellow ribbon's what I need to set me free
I wrote and told her please
Whoa, tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree
It's been three long years
Do ya still want me?
If I don't see a ribbon round the old oak tree
I'll stay on the bus
Forget about us
Put the blame on me
If I don't see a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree
Now the whole damned bus is cheerin'
And I can't believe I see
A hundred yellow ribbons round the old oak tree
I'm comin' home
